Downtown Commons, the plaza adjacent to Golden 1 Center, is getting another restaurant.

Estelle’s Patisserie, a bakery at 9th and K streets, announced late Tuesday it’s moving to a space next to the new Sacramento Kings arena and the Sawyer, the hotel tower the Kings are building. Estelle’s made the announcement in a posting on Facebook.

The bakery said it will close its K Street location next Wednesday and reopen next spring at Downtown Commons, also known as DoCo. “Loyalty from customers like you has fueled continued growth, making a move to a new facility necessary,” Estelle’s announced.

The bakery becomes the fifth restaurant set to open at the site formerly down as Downtown Plaza. The others are Punch Bowl Social, Sauced BBQ, Popbar and State Fare Kitchen and Bar.
