For the current generation of music listeners, it’s a show with Paul McCartney-like status.

Kanye West, the popular rapper, producer and gossip-page regular is coming to Sacramento. West’s show is set for Nov. 19 at Golden 1 Center, and is part of a second leg of dates from West’s “Saint Pablo Tour.” He is scheduled to play Fresno’s Save Mart Center Nov. 22.

West recently postponed the tour after his wife, Kim Kardashian, was robbed at gun point in Paris. But the shows are now on again.

West is no stranger to Sacramento. He performed at the former Arco Arena in 2008, and even worked on some tracks at a local recording studio during his stay. But this latest announcement ranks among the biggest shows scheduled for Golden 1 Center, and will likely sell out quickly.
