Bon Jovi coming to Golden 1 Center on Feb. 28

The rock group Bon Jovi announced Wednesday that it would appear at the Golden 1 Center in late February as part of a 20-concert tour to support a new album.

The New Jersey group’s 2017 tour with front man Jon Bon Jovi arrives in Sacramento for a concert Feb. 28. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 15.

The group is releasing a new album “This House Is Not For Sale.” The tour will also take the band to to Atlanta, Dallas, San Jose, San Diego and Los Angeles.

Sacramento city officials project the new Golden 1 Center will host 189 events a year, including an average of 47 Kings games, 20 graduation ceremonies and 27 concerts. On Oct. 4 and 5, 2016, Paul McCartney opened the arena as the first musical event. Here is a look at the other coming musical acts. Video compiled by David Caraccio
